About Haunts Halloween

Haunts Halloween is a small independent magazine devoted to the Halloween of decades past — its stories, its paper decorations, its recipes, and the people who still remember it.

This magazine began with a simple affection: the look and feel of an old October. Die-cut black cats taped to a window, a honeycomb pumpkin on the table, a ghost story read aloud by lamplight. Most of what appears here is written and drawn in that spirit — a loving imitation of the print era, not a museum of it.

Everything here — the fiction, the artwork, the games — is openly a work of imagination.
